Each year the Cinedans Jury rewards the best dance film with a prize of € 1,000, and will receive a beautiful silk-screen print offerd by the design company ' de zoele haven'.
With great care the jury members choose the winner from all the selected films. the films vary from short films to long films, from black and white to full colour films, from documentaries to animation and fiction.

Jury Members 2007
Bertha Bermudez Pascual was a member of the Frankfurt Ballet and Compañia Nacional de Danza in Madrid. She performed in productions of William Forsythe, Jirí Kylián, Mats Ek and Hans van Manen. She joined Emio Greco | PC in 1998 and performed in many pieces. In 2005 she stopped performing and started working for Emio Greco | PC transmitting their work and doing research on dance notation.
Klaus Jürgens used to work as a dancer for amongst others Reflex, Wim Vandekeybus and Sascha Walz. He co-founded the Hans Hof Ensemble, a theater dance group with which he still performs and for which he creates choreographies. Next to that he works as a teacher and a dramatist for various dance and theatre groups.
Nils Post worked as a director of photography on feature films, TV movies, TV series, documentaries and commercials. He worked with directors such as Gerrard Verhage, Willem van de Sande Bakhuyzen and others. His long term collaboration with director Clara van Gool resulted in various award winning dance films.
Gaby Wijers is head of collection at the Netherlands Media Art Institute, Montevideo/Time Based Arts. She used to work at the Netherlands Theater Institute and for the Branch organization for Dance (DOD) and she is a board member of Theatermaker, the section dance and new media. She currently works on developing new methods of video registration in the visual arts.
Gerrard Verhage is director and created several fiction films, documentaries and TV dramas for national television. Furthermore he is a scriptwriter and a guest lecturer at the Dutch Film and Television Academy. He is currently working on a fiction film called Bloedgabbers about Willem Holleeder, Cor van Hout and Willem Endstra.
